NAMES ARCHIBALD AS NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

ST. LOUIS (May 12, 2011)--SAK Construction, a national pipeline rehabilitation and tunneling services contractor headquartered in the St. Louis area, has recently named Roger Archibald as chief financial officer. SAK provides specialized, high demand services ranging from large diameter tunneling to the full spectrum of current trenchless or “no-dig” technologies, including CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) pipeline rehabilitation.  The firm currently has projects in 23 states across the U.S. 

Archibald, whose most recent previous position was chief financial officer for C.L. Smith Co. in St. Louis, brings to SAK more than 30 years of experience in fiscal management, including acquisitions, external audits, and directing capital and productivity projects.  At SAK, Archibald will manage all aspects of the firm’s financial and administrative activities.

A certified public accountant, Archibald holds a bachelor of science degree in business from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Ill.  He is a board member and co-chairman of the economic development council of the Missouri State Chamber of Commerce and served as board president of the East Central College Foundation.

Pipeline rehabilitation and tunneling services contractor adds
Lane and Wassam in Colorado; Burtch in Missouri

ST. LOUIS (May 10, 2011)---SAK Construction, a national pipeline rehabilitation and tunneling services contractor with projects in 23 states, has recently added three new staff members to its business development and marketing team:  Joe Lane and Matt Wassam in Colorado, and Carrie Burtch, at SAK’s national headquarters in O’Fallon, Mo. SAK provides specialized, high demand services ranging from large diameter tunneling to the full spectrum of current trenchless or “no-dig” technologies, including CIPP (cured-in-place pipe) pipeline rehabilitation. 

Lane, who is based in Denver, has been named SAK’s business development leader for a cross section of strategic markets, including the energy, oil, gas and mining industries; federal agencies; and key municipal markets and accounts.  Lane has previously held several senior management positions and brings to SAK more than 20 years of experience in the infrastructure rehabilitation industry.  He has managed business units exceeding $100 million in annual revenue across the U.S. and has participated in and led some of the largest infrastructure upgrade programs in the nation.

Wassam, based in Castle Rock, Colo., has been named SAK’s business development leader for the municipal water markets.  He has been involved in the pipeline rehabilitation industry for seven years and has been instrumental in some of the nation’s largest trenchless water rehabilitation projects.  Prior to joining SAK, Wassam served as national sales manager for a major pipeline rehabilitation firm.

Burtch has assumed the role of SAK’s sales and marketing coordinator. She is responsible for pre-qualifications, city and state licensing, and marketing support projects.  Burtch, who has a decade of previous experience in marketing and business analysis, most recently worked as director of proposals and marketing for a facilities maintenance and management firm.
